Sharing the Power of Swimming by giving an opportunity to BE WATER SAFE to as many underprivileged kids we can every year.

Through  the  Drowning  Prevention  Program, Planet Swim  Foundation  does  not  just  teach swimming:  we  want to share our passion for all things aquatics in a safe and fun  environment to help our community become a leading example while preventing drowning at all levels. Our goal is to teach 600  children  per year.
While the overall goal is for every child to have the opportunity to learn to swim, the main objective in providing a swim lesson program is to make a substantial contribution towards preventing drowning in our community emphasising:

  1. The development of water confidence
  2. Personal Survival  skills.
  3. Life-saving skills.
  4. The development of basic strokes

Planet Swim Foundation's goal is to set up different events to raise awareness to prevent drowing, support the swimming community and help professional swimmers.

In 2011 the Planet Swim Foundation partnered with the Jax50 Dual Challenge Meet and the Bolles School Sharks swim team to raise funds and awareness and reach the goal of providing free lessons for 600 children.

In order to provide this service the Planet Swim Foundation also created a partnership with Planet Swim School to have a  facility and a professional staff to provide the lessons.

Since the summer of 2010 the Planet Swim Foundation has worked with the 'Metro Kids Connection" and "Community Connections" 2 local area non-profit organizations to provide :

  • $13,000.00 in Grants for the 2013 year to teach underprivileged children how to be water safe to swim schools in theJacksonville area.

  • Swim lessons to 157 underprivileged kids for 8 weeks with 2 lessons a week.
